‘Doing Engineering’ was a workshop that explored engineering: its ambitions, its people, its work, its functions, its benefits and troubles, and everything else that makes it what it is. We invited engineers, scientists, social scientists, philosophers and policy-makers to join us, and asked each to bring one image to answer the question, ‘what is engineering?’
